Minnesota Landscape Arboretum: Auxiliary Summer Private Garden Tours; Buy Tickets Now

May 14, 2011 — Leave a comment

Because reservations are limited, it is wise to buy tickets now for the 2011 Auxiliary Summer Private Tours which marks the 27th anniversary of the premiere garden tour in the Twin Cities.

From the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum website:

“The Auxiliary will host their 27th annual Private Garden Tours on July 10, 12 & 13, 2011. This year’s four private gardens feature two fairy gardens, a lifestyle garden and a lovely backyard retreat. Guests travel onboard luxury air-conditioned motor coaches. Each garden will have on hand representatives from both the Auxiliary and the homeowners to answer your questions and share their experiences creating their lovely gardens. This is truly the crown jewel of regional garden tours.

“Auxiliary Private Garden Tours includes Brunch on Sunday accompanied by the keyboard duet, F Sharp. Lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday will be accompanied by harpist Trudy Harper on the beautiful Arboretum Morgan Terrace.

“The tours will take place regardless of the weather. Each tour lasts approximately 3 hours. Please wear comfortable and sensible shoes. All tours are led by knowledgeable guides on luxury air-conditioned motor coaches. Unfortunately, our destination gardens and coaches cannot accommodate those with special needs, including wheelchairs, walkers, etc. Tickets will be sent to only the first name on the registration form. Each guest must show their ticket to board the tour bus and eat lunch. Absolutely no exceptions! No separate admission to the Arboretum is required. Please show your tour ticket at the Gate House.

“Reservations are limited.

“All proceeds go to support the work of the Arboretum.”
