First honors will be bestowed at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres on Saturday evening, November 10, 2012 to USMC Sgt. Colin Faust and his family, who reside in Carver County, Minnesota.

During its run of Bye Bye Birdie, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in Chanhassen, Minnesota will be dedicating performances to local and regional military members and their families to further local efforts for “Beyond The Yellow Ribbon.”

“Beyond the Yellow Ribbon” is a comprehensive program that creates awareness for the purpose of connecting service members and their families with community support, training, services and resources.  It is united in its efforts to bring service members all the way home.

Chanhassen Dinner Theatre’s own Conrad Birdie and fellow cast members who are sporting VERY happy faces as they prepare for the opening of Bye Bye Birdie.

Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is currently making final preparations to bring a Broadway Tony-Award winning musical of the 60s to its Main Stage in October, 2012.  The all-American musical Bye Bye Birdie will open with preview performances from October 5 through 18.  Official grand opening festivities will take place on October 19 – the production is slated to run through March 30, 2013.

Bye Bye Birdie is loaded with tunes that will transport audiences back to earlier times including: “Goin’ Steady,” “Put on a Happy Face,” “The Telephone Hour,” “We Love You, Conrad,” “Honestly Sincere,” “One Last Kiss,” “A Lot of Livin’ To Do” and “Kids.”

Owner Michael Brindisi at Brindisi’s Pub in Chanhassen

A new dining spot in Chanhassen is now offering the option of a Sunday brunch to their patrons. Brindisi’s Pub, located adjacent to Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in Chanhassen, Minnesota, recently added Sunday brunch to their dining menu between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. each week.

Chef David Kirchner’s Sunday brunch menu includes breakfast classics along with such specialties as Butter Croissant French Toast with fresh macerated strawberries, Eggs Benedict and Huevos Rancheros. Prices for Sunday brunch items range from $5 to $12. Like the Pub’s $5 Brindisi Burger, the Brindisi Breakfast Sandwich (featuring an Italian flair) is also just $5.

This highly-charged tribute concert performance returns to The Fireside stage for another limited two-night summertime engagement on Tuesday, July 10 and Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

Rumours & Dreams – The Music of Fleetwood Mac has a band comprised of some of the Midwest’s finest talent including Pamela McNeill, Mary Jane Alm, and Jeff Engholm on vocals and a host of A-list musicians. With the help of these musicians, Rumours & Dreams will take audiences on a journey through one of the richest songbooks in rock’n’roll history.

Kira, the magical Greek muse around whom the story of "Xanadu" evolves.

It is almost time for an exclusive Midwest premiere on Chanhassen Dinner Theatres’ Main Stage!  XANADU will have its grand opening on June 8, 2012 and run through September – a very limited engagement by Chanhassen standards.

XANADU was named “Outstanding New Musical” for the 2008 Broadway season by the Outer Critics Circle.  It is based on the 1980 cult film classic by the same title featuring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly – to the audience’s delight, it pokes a bit of fun at the film throughout the two-hour production.
