Dr. David Jeremiah will present a live worship event at the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota on Thursday, April 4, 2013.  It will begin at 7:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

Admission is free, but guests are asked to register for tickets online at www.davidjeremiah.org/rallies or by calling (800) 947-1993.

Everyone is invited to experience the power of worship with thousands of other believers through dynamic music led by Marshall Hall, former member of the Gaither Vocal Band and new worship leader at Shadow Mountain Community Church. He will be joined by talented pianist, Ian Oakley, and the Turning Point worship team.

A West Virginia grist mill. Isn’t this a lovely scene for the Christmas season?

Final preparations are underway at my home for our family Christmas Day celebration that will take place tomorrow. Many food items have already been prepared. – currently a pumpkin pie is baking and a  gingerbread is ready for the oven when the pie is done. The table is set, presents are wrapped and adding a colorful touch to the living room; in general, all systems are go for a very merry time, indeed. I can hardly wait for the fragrances of baked ham and spiced apple cider to waft through my home tomorrow. What a blessing!

This will be a very white Christmas in Minnesota, and also a very cold one.  However, there are no snowstorms on the horizon for the Twin Cities area, and the highways are good for travel.

Twin Cities’ professional singers and orchestra musicians will unite to present an “authentic” version of Handel’s Messiah at Central Presbyterian Church in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 14, 2012 beginning at 8:00 p.m.

In the wake of the canceled Minnesota Orchestra performances of Handel’s Messiah, conductor and University of Minnesota music professor, Matthew Mehaffey, could not imagine a Christmas season in Minnesota without the world’s most famous oratorio being performed.  To that end, he has hired a chamber orchestra and 16 of the Twin Cities’ finest vocalists to present an all-professional production of George Frideric Handel’s iconic oratorio, Messiah.

Casting Crowns bandmates

A great cause and what is sure to be an exciting concert!  The humanitarian organization World Vision will present the Come To The Well Tour with Grammy winners Casting Crowns at Target Center in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday, April 21, 2012.

This event is being presented locally by 98.5 KTIS.  The show will start at 7pm and the doors will open one hour prior to the concert.

The Oratorio Society of Minnesota is about to present a rarely performed masterwork based on the exciting story of Esther, the Jewish queen of Persia.  The concerts will be held Friday, March 9 at 7:30 and Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 3:00 at Sundin Music Hall in Saint Paul.

Composed by George Frideric Handel, Esther displays a variety of moods from despondent cries when Persia’s Jews are ordered to death to joyous choruses as Esther saves her people from genocide.
